How Invisalign Works
Although the technology behind clear aligners is complex, the overall process is relatively simple. First, we will have a custom series of clear aligners made. Each one will be worn for 20+ hours a day and for 7-14 days at a time. Then, every 6-8 weeks, you’ll come to our office so we can monitor your progress. This process will repeat until you reach your final aligner. At this point, we will have a custom retainer made to help prevent orthodontic relapse (the phenomenon when teeth drift out of their ideal places).
